George Home is a curated collection of unusual and beautiful furniture, accessories, art and lighting with an eclectic mix of old and new from near and far. Founded in 2017 by Bruce Glickman and Wilson Henley of Duane in Manhattan and partner Betsey Nestler, a local dealer and tastemaker. George Home features a well selected and inspired global mix of mid-century modern, antique and contemporary furniture, objects, art, accessories, lighting and unique tabletop. Named for Washington CT’s most famous colonial passerby, George Home is set up in 3 distinct areas: the Living Room—bigger pieces of decorative furniture, art and lighting; the Library—a bit moodier, dark walls, deep sofas and books, and the Marketplace—full of contemporary finds, antique curiosities and easy to pick presents, tabletop and accessories. Additionally, The Design Studio at George Home offers full interior design services. George Home is open Thursday to Monday, from 11:00 to 5:30 (Sunday 12 - 4) & by appointment.
